About Us

The Eagle String Quartet was formed in the summer of 2007.

All of our members live and work in the Eagle/Boise, Idaho area.

Julia Pope - Cello is currently a member of the Boise philharmonic Orchestra, and is the principle cellist in the Eagle Chamber Orchestra 

Lea King - Viola is a school teacher and plays both the violin and viola in the Eagle Chamber Orchestra

Mark Owen - 2nd violin, recieved his Bachelors Degree in violin and viola performance from Washington State University,  and is currently the conductor of the Eagle Chamber Orchestra 

Dianna Scofeild - 1st violin, is currently the concert mistress of the Eagle Chamber Orchestra
